Fashioned and Made for Excellence Foundation Volunteer Ooreoluwa Bamiduro has been awarded the 2025 Chevening Scholarship.
For more than half a decade, Ooreoluwa has volunteered with the FAME Foundation teaching students in public secondary schools leadership values, and empowering them with work readiness skills. She has mentored over a thousand young people till date.
In 2023, she founded Hope Haven an initiative for Indigents, inspired by a deeply personal experience in 2022. Through Hope Haven, she funds medical procedures and provides medications for indigent patients in Nigeria giving them renewed hope and a second chance at life.
A Chevening Scholarship is so much more than a world-class education, and she is one of the 40 Nigerians selected for the Chevening Scholarship out of over 102,274 applicants in 2025. Only 1,500 scholars were chosen in 2025.
For Ooreoluwa, Chevening Scholarship is not just an academic opportunity, it is fuel for her mission: to create solutions in education, health, and finance, to amplify the voices that deserve to be heard, and to uplift those who are boldly navigating challenges that seem insurmountable.
She dedicated the award to students who have shared their journeys with her, the patients in her community she has walked alongside, and the dreamers who continue to pursue their visions with courage.
Ooreoluwa will study a master’s in Global Development at the University of East Anglia.
